1. HOT-DIP GALVANIZED STEEL COIL
Process: After cleaning and annealing DC03 cold-rolled steel coils, they are immersed in molten zinc for galvanization, followed by cooling and solidification.
2. GALVALUME STEEL COIL
Process: The coating on DC03 cold-rolled steel coil contains 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, and 1.5% silicon.
3. COLOR-COATED STEEL COIL
Process: Using DC03 cold-rolled coil, DC03 GI coil/GL coil as substrate, undergoes surface pretreatment followed by continuous application of multiple layers of organic coating on both sides, then baked for curing.
Q1: What is DC03 cold-rolled steel?
A: DC03 is a low-carbon cold-rolled steel produced according to the European standard EN 10130. It is renowned for its excellent deep-drawing properties, good formability, and smooth, clean surface finish, making it an ideal base material for applications requiring complex cold forming and deep drawing.
Q2: What is the difference between DC03 and the commonly used DC01?
A: Compared to DC01, which is mainly used for general bending and simple forming, DC03 has superior ductility and deep-drawing properties. DC03 has a lower yield strength (up to 240 MPa) and a higher elongation at break (≥34%), meaning it is less prone to breakage during stamping, making it ideal for more complex stamped parts.
Q3: What is the size range of DC03 cold-rolled steel you offer?
A: We offer a variety of specifications to meet your production needs, supporting delivery in coil, strip, and sheet form.
Thickness: 0.15mm – 3.0mm
Width: 600mm – 2000mm
(Note: Specific dimensions can be customized by slitting or leveling according to customer requirements.)
Q4: Is the surface of DC03 prone to rust? How is it treated at the factory?
A: Cold-rolled steel is prone to oxidation and rust if directly exposed to air. Therefore, our DC03 products are treated with double-sided oiling by default before leaving the factory to prevent rust. Customers can also choose different surface roughnesses (such as glossy, matte, etc.) according to subsequent coating process requirements.
