A: Yes, we do. Honestly, if it’s going into an elevator or a busy commercial lobby, we always push people to get the AFP nano-coating. It’s a clear layer that stops grease and smudges from showing up constantly. It saves building managers a ton of time on daily cleaning.
Q3: How do you ensure the brushed surface is not scratched during shipping?
A: Every sheet gets covered with a laser-compatible PE/PVC protective film (70um to 100um). We then pack them in heavy wooden pallets, wrap them in waterproof kraft paper, and strap them down with steel banding. Just a quick heads-up from the shop floor: don’t leave that PVC film baked on the steel in the hot sun for months on the job site. The adhesive turns into a gummy nightmare to peel off.
Q4: Which stainless steel grade should I choose for outdoor architectural cladding?
A: Grade 304 is the industry workhorse. But if you’re building near the coast or in a heavy pollution zone? Skip it. You’ll want to upgrade to AISI 316 or 316L. The added molybdenum stops pitting and crevice corrosion dead in its tracks.
