Testing Protocols & Quality Assurance

Following the ASTM A924 general requirements, every batch of our steel undergoes a rigorous series of standardized tests to ensure compliance:

Mechanical Property Testing: Verification of yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation (as required by the specific base metal grade).

Coating Weight Verification: Utilizing the Triple-Spot Test or Single-Spot Test to ensure the zinc or aluzinc coating is evenly distributed and meets the specified designation (e.g., G90 or AZ150).

Bend Test Performance: Ensuring the metallic coating maintains a metallurgical bond with the steel substrate without flaking or cracking during fabrication.

Surface Finish & Chemical Treatment
