PPGI Plain Sheet

At BOMIS Steel, we manufacture premium pre-painted galvanized (PPGI) sheets built for demanding environments — a flawlessly smooth, flat finish ready for the production line right off the pallet. Engineered specifically to handle rigorous stamping, deep bending, and complex fabrication without cracking.

At your spec: Precision thicknesses from 0.12 mm up to 2.0 mm. Coatings from standard PE to ultra-durable PVDF. Any RAL color, custom-mixed to match. Cut to your exact lengths at true wholesale rates — delivered anywhere in the world, on time.

Product Overview

When your production line needs a flawless, untextured finish, BOMIS Steel PPGI plain sheets deliver. We roll these specifically for high-demand secondary processing where surface defects aren’t an option.

We start with a premium hot-dipped galvanized base and apply a tightly bonded organic topcoat, creating a moisture barrier built for serious industrial wear and tear. They don’t just look good coming off the truck—they survive the harshest job sites and corrosive facility environments.

Direct from our Shandong facility, our high-speed coil-coating lines utilize automated gauge monitoring. This guarantees zero thickness drift and zero paint pooling across the entire batch. What you get is dead-flat material that holds its color batch-after-batch and won’t flake when your press brakes hit it. If your fabrication shop is tired of rejecting wavy sheets or dealing with micro-cracking during stamping, this is your substrate.

Why Fabricators Choose Our Plain Sheets

Uncompromising Rust Prevention

We don’t cut corners on the primer or the zinc layer. Our metallurgically bonded HDG substrate under a fully baked topcoat locks out moisture at the microscopic level. Whether your end-product is sitting in a humid coastal warehouse or a chemical-heavy industrial plant, the base metal stays protected. It’s the go-to material when your client’s contract demands a strict 10-to-20-year service life.

Dead-Flat Finish

We run rigorous tension-leveling protocols. You won’t find unwanted waves, edge waves, or center buckles here. If you are laying down PVC films, printing directly on the metal, or building sanitary cleanrooms, our level surface ensures perfect adhesion and rapid washdowns.

High-Stress Formability

Go ahead and run it through your toughest deep-drawing or 180-degree folding processes. The paint is engineered to flex with the steel—no micro-fissures, no flaking, and absolutely zero exposed zinc at the bends. We specifically balance our resin formulations so you can punch complex geometries without stopping the line to clean paint dust out of your dies.

UV and Thermal Stability

Fading is the enemy of exterior metal. We match the paint chemistry directly to the UV index and thermal load of your target market. Building an architectural facade in a harsh, high-salinity environment? PVDF is non-negotiable if you want to honor a 25-year structural warranty. For standard industrial enclosures or inland cladding where budgets are tighter, our SMP and HDP lines offer the best balance of price and long-term weatherability.

Where Our Steel Shines

imaginación Cleanroom partitions, architectural wall cladding, insulated sandwich panels, and suspended ceiling grids
White Goods & HVAC Stamped washing machine cabinets, spiral HVAC ducting, refrigerator side panels, and commercial lighting troughs

Available Paint Systems

PE (Polyester) The industry workhorse. Offers great gloss, highly cost-effective pricing, and is perfect for indoor shelving, enclosures, or mild outdoor use.
SMP (Silicone Modified Polyester) Step up to SMP if chalking is a concern. We add silicone to the resin for significantly harder paint, ideal for intense sun exposure.
HDP (High Durability Polyester) Competes directly with PVDF but saves you money. Excellent stain resistance—highly recommended for commercial appliances and high-traffic corridors.
PVDF (fluorocarbono) The ultimate defense. Exceptional chemical inertness and fade resistance. We recommend this exclusively for iconic architectural projects and heavy coastal exposure.

High-Velocity RAL Colors

We keep massive master coils of these top RAL codes ready for immediate slitting. Need a highly specific corporate color? Give our lab 15 days, and we’ll match it.

Honest Answers to Real Buyer Questions

“Should I buy plain sheets or pre-corrugated?”

Plain sheets are your raw ingredient. You buy these if you own the roll-forming machines, press brakes, or stamping presses to make the final profiled product yourself.

“Can I split the 10-ton MOQ across multiple colors?”

Generally, no, because changing paint lines mid-run destroys factory efficiency. However, if you’re pulling from our standard RAL stock coils, talk to our sales reps—we can usually work something out for a trial run.

“I’m shipping my finished product to a coastal area. What paint do I need?”

If you are within 5km of saltwater, PE and SMP will fail prematurely due to edge-creep. You absolutely need to spec PVDF to protect your brand’s reputation and avoid warranty claims.

“How tight are your cut-to-length tolerances?”

Our automated shears hold a strict ±1 mm tolerance on lengths up to 6 meters. If you need longer sheets, our logistics team will coordinate special ocean containers to prevent warping during transit.

“Do you offer container pricing for continuous OEM supply?”

Yes. The majority of our export volume goes directly to large-scale OEMs and fabricators. We lock in contract pricing for scheduled monthly container deliveries to keep your lines running without inventory hiccups.
