BOMIS grey corrugated roof sheets are pressed from pre-painted galvanized steel coil (PPGI) in RAL-matched grey tones. The corrugated profile adds structural stiffness while the factory-applied coating handles weather, UV, and corrosion. Available in matte and gloss finishes across 14 standard grey shades.
The grey palette runs from RAL 7000 (squirrel grey) through RAL 7040 (window grey) to RAL 9006 (white aluminium) and RAL 9007 (grey aluminium). Grey is the most versatile roofing color — it pairs with any facade material, hides dust better than white, and reflects more heat than dark colors.

Appearance
Grey tones are clean, professional, and architecturally neutral. The corrugated profile creates shadow lines that add depth to the roof plane. Matte finish hides minor surface variations. Gloss finish gives a sharper, more contemporary look.
Strength & Load Capacity
The corrugated rib geometry gives the sheet high bending stiffness relative to its gauge. Depending on profile and thickness, tensile strength runs from 300 MPa to 600 MPa. Purlin spacing tables available on request for specific wind and snow load requirements.

The corrugated wave pattern channels water to the eaves. Correct side-lap and end-lap sealing keeps the underlayment dry in heavy rain. The sheet-to-sheet connection seals against driven rain when installed to spec.

The base substrate is galvanized or galvalume steel. The factory coating adds a second barrier. For coastal and high-humidity environments, step up to PVDF topcoat for maximum protection.
Thermal Performance
Grey shades reflect more solar radiation than dark colors while absorbing enough to help with snow melt in cold climates. When used as the face sheet of a metal sandwich panel, the assembly provides excellent thermal insulation for temperature-controlled buildings.

Matte finish scatters light, which hides minor surface scratches and roll-forming marks. Gloss finish reflects more light and gives a sharper appearance. Both use the same base coating chemistry. Gloss tends to show dirt more quickly. Matte is the more common choice for industrial roofing.
Yes, but different RAL codes run as separate coil lots. If your project uses multiple grey tones, expect each shade to ship as a separate batch. For large roofs using a single shade, one coil lot ensures color consistency across every sheet.
Sheets are stacked, wrapped in waterproof film, and secured on reinforced wooden pallets or steel cradles. Long sheets (8m+) ship in open-top containers or on flat racks. All packaging is ocean-freight rated with moisture barriers.
