PPGL Coil \u2013 JIS G3312 (Roofing sheet) describes a type of roll used to make roofing sheets that is coated with an aluminum-zinc alloy and then painted. It is a product that meets the Japanese Industrial Standard, JIS G3312. To give a better idea of the standard, here is an overview of a specification that uses an aluminum sheet of 1mm thickness for JIS G3312.<\/p>\n

The standard describes requirements for steel sheets and coils that are galvanized and are pre-painted. Sheets and coils that are hot dip galvanized and then coated are taken and one or both sides are coated with resin and heated in a drying oven.<\/p>\n

Product Characteristics: PPGL coils use as a substrate a cold roll that is coated with an alloy of aluminum and zinc in a proportion of 55%, and are pre-painted with resin. These coils are easy to process and have decorative qualities, as well as good corrosion resistance.<\/p>\n

Standards\/Specifications: The thickness is usually in a range of 0.12-0.6mm. The common widths are equal to 914 mm, 1000 mm, 1200 mm, etc. Concerning the zinc\/aluminum-zinc coating, the amount of galvanizing is usually 40-275 g\/m\u00b2, while the aluminum-zinc amount is 40-150 g\/m\u00b2.
