Our steel coils undergo impact testing before leaving the factory. This is primarily to verify the steel’s toughness (impact resistance) and ensure its reliable quality and safety in practical applications. The reasons are as follows: Assessing toughness and impact resistance: By measuring the energy absorbed (impact energy) and fracture morphology under impact loads, we can determine the material’s dynamic toughness, distinguish between ductile fracture (high energy absorption) and brittle fracture (low energy absorption), and determine the material’s ability to withstand damage under instantaneous, high-energy impacts.

Ensuring operational safety: By verifying whether the material will undergo brittle fracture due to impact in practical applications (such as those subjected to collision, vibration, and sudden loads, such as in construction machinery, vehicle components, and building structures), we can prevent safety accidents such as equipment damage and structural collapse.

In short, impact testing is a critical quality control measure that ensures the steel coils are durable, reliable, and reliable in practical use, encompassing a multi-dimensional approach: “performance verification → safety assurance → standard compliance.”
