Service life depends primarily on the surrounding environment and the thickness of the zinc coating. In typical inland environments, a zinc coating of 80 g/m² generally provides 15 to 20 years of rust protection. For coastal areas or regions with industrial pollution, it is recommended to select specifications of 180 g/m² or higher to ensure a longer service life.
2.What is the difference between Big, Regular, and Zero Spangle?
Big/Regular Spangle: Features a traditional, shimmering metallic pattern; commonly used for outdoor roofing, it offers a visually more “industrial” aesthetic.
Zero Spangle: Presents a smooth, uniform surface devoid of any visible patterns. If you intend to paint or apply a coating to the steel sheets later on, Zero Spangle is the optimal choice due to its superior coating adhesion.
